Membership in the Association of Cameroonian Nurse Anesthetists in America is a privilege, which shall be extended only to Nursing professionals who continuously meet the qualifications, standards and requirements set forth in the Bylaws.
Membership to ACNAA shall be opened to all individuals meeting the following criteria.

- Persons of Cameroon origin who are qualified to practice as Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs).
- Persons of non-Cameroon origin who are married to or are in a meaningful relationship to a native Cameroonian or a naturalized Cameroonian; who in addition are qualified to practice as CRNAs
- CRNAs of other nationalities demonstrating interest and commitment in promoting the objectives and goals of ACNAA with full understanding that the theatre of such goals and objectives are in the territorial boundary of Cameroon.
- A nurse who is enrolled in an anesthesia program and will meet any of A, B, and C above in the future.
