Support Our Events
ACNAA is committed to advancing the anesthesia profession through education and also supporting individuals and organizations with similar visions. Yearly, we:
- Provide scholarships to two SRNAs.
- Sponsor SRNAs to attend the AANA mid-year and Annual congress.
- Support nurse anesthetists from our sister organization in Cameroon (Association of Cameroon Nurse Anesthetists-ACNA) to attend international conferences.
- Donate to other Healthcare/Anesthesia organizations.

Fund Our Mission Trips
ACNAA biennial mission trip and conference to Cameroon and other underserved countries is aimed at knowledge exchange while also educating anesthesia providers on the use of advanced anesthesia equipment and airway management. We firmly believe that this knowledge exchange will enhance nurse anesthetists’ skills and increase access to anesthesia care in Cameroon.
In 2024, we trained 70 Nurse Anesthetists and 50 SRNAs in Cameroon on the following:
- Ultrasound guided neuraxial anesthesia
- Ultrasound guided Centra-line placement
- Managing difficult airway using video laryngoscopy and cricothyroidotomy
